This week will be by far the toughest week for the five remaining X Factor finalists, as each act must try to perfect two songs.A show source told The Sun said: “The plan is for the acts to do one up-tempo number and a more ballady one to show off both sides of their voices.
“Learning two songs is killing them.”
Tracks being practised include Take That’s Relight My Fire and Elt’s Rocket Man.
This weekend will be the toughest yet because the acts are at the viewers’ mercy.
The four judges can comment, but can’t vote.
Creative director Brian Friedman has reportedly been put under pressure to help the contestants improve their performances on the night.
“Brian is having to come up with loads of energetic dance routines for them,” the source added.
“Some, like Olly and Danyl, are convinced that the key to their survival is down to them having a big performance.”
Stacey Solomon and Olly Murs have been getting closer to one another behind closed doors, and Stacey has spoken about her relationship with Olly for the first time.
The 20-year-old single mother from Dagenham, Essex, is the only female left in the competition and yesterday enjoyed a trip round the Somerset House ice skating rink in London with her mentor Dannii Minogue.

She said she loves Olly, 25, who is her best friend in the house and he has even met her mother, Fiona.
Speaking to Now magazine she said: ‘I love Olly, he’s my best mate in the house – with John and Edward.
‘We’re from the same area, so he reminds me of home. You know when someone talks and it’s like: “Ah, that’s home…”‘
