Great News! Kate Ford is returning to Coronation Street as scheming Tracy Barlow.

Tracy, who is mum to Steve McDonald’s daughter Amy and the daughter of Ken and Deirdre, is currently serving a prison sentence for murdering boyfriend Charlie Stubbs (Bill Ward).

This spring, she will be seen in prison, where she’ll become embroiled in a storyline involving another well-loved character, according to the soap’s official website.

She will make her full comeback to the cobbles a few months later, in time for the 50th anniversary of the much-loved soap.
Kate, 32, was in Corrie from 2002 to 2007, although has been referenced many times since by her screen family.
