Tonites Corrie Leanne and Peter wake having spent the night together. Peter’s elated – as is Simon – but when Simon mentions Michelle’s name, Leanne becomes suspicious that Peter’s keeping secrets from her.

After tricking Michelle into divulging her one-night stand with Peter, Leanne confronts him. Branding Peter a compulsive liar, she ends their revived relationship. A gutted Peter tells Blanche that he’s blown his chances with Leanne for the final time.

Knowing how much Leanne means to Peter, Blanche goes to talk to her. Urging her to consider Simon’s feelings, Blanche says that if Leanne intends to leave Weatherfield again, she must stay away for good. Leanne’s left thoughtful.
