Simon Cowell has finalised plans for Madonna and Robbie Williams to appear on The XFactor this year, a source has claimed.
The music mogul was first said to be wooing the stars last month in an attempt to top the 2008 final, which saw Beyoncé performing with show winner Alexandra Burke.
According to The Sun, the programme’s choreographer Brian Friedman has now “blabbed” to friends that Cowell has finally convinced the pair to take part.

A source explained: “Brian is really excited about this year’s show because there are some great artists involved.
“He is proud to be part of it and admires Simon’s ability to attract A-listers.”
It is believed that Madonna and Williams will offer masterclasses to the contestants once the live shows start. Whitney Houston, Rihanna have also been tipped to appear.
Also we now hear that Kate Moss will also be a part of this years show!,
The supermodel, 35, is in talks about joining forces with one of the four judges on the ITV1 talent hit.
Show bosses want her to help whittle down this year’s wannabes from 24 to the final 12.
The plan is for Kate to join either Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh or Dannii Minogue for their “judges’ houses” segments.
This is when each judge picks three finalists for the live shows from the six hopefuls left in that particular category. The scenes are to be filmed next month and bosses hope Kate – a huge fan of the show – will join one of the judges on set.
The model was a familiar face at the X Factor studios last year when she watched the show twice and brought her daughter Lila Grace, six, to the final.
She is also a close pal of Cowell after meeting him through mutual friend Topshop billionaire Sir Philip Green. Cowell, 49, has now teamed up with Sir Philip – worth £4.3billion – to launch an entertainment conglomerate to potentially rival Disney.
