What do you do if you buy a watch for nearly £4,000 and then find it doesn’t fit? Sell it on Twitter, of course.

Well, that’s what Lily Allen has done after forking out for an exclusive Breitling watch, before discovering it was too big for her, must be a man’s watch ??

Rather than take it back, the singer has put the item up for sale at a bargain knock-down rate of £3,200.

Using her wheeler dealer selling tactics, the London-born talked up her product, posting a message saying: ‘I bought it for 4,4000 euros (£3,800) so i’d be making a loss’.

The Breitling brand, established by Leon Breitling in 1884, offers Swiss watches, designed primarily for aviation use, although most frequently worn as a high-end items of jewellery.

Lily also posted pictures of herself munching on a late-night kebab plus another snap of her showcasing her statement gold nail polish.

Last night the 24-year-old star took to the stage in Budapest, Hungary, during the Island Festival, one of the biggest cultural events of Europe.

And earlier this week The Fear singer was spotted out in London with her rumoured new love interest – painter Sam Cooper.
