Lily began to cry as she performed a gig in Finland.
But the 24-year-old insisted her pain was not emotional, but physical – caused by a fall the previous evening.
She told concert-goers in Helsinki that she was taking painkillers, and managed to complete the show once she had brushed away the tears.
The 24-year-old assured the audience: “I feel a bit emotional tonight and if I cry it’s not because of you but because of me.”
Luckily for Lily, she dabbed away the tears without upsetting the glittery blue make-up streaked across her eyes and face.
Before appearing at the Flow Festival in Finland, she had written on Twitter: “I fell over badly last night and I’ve really f**ed my back up. Just had an injection in my bum. How am I gonna get through tonight’s gig?”
This was not the first time she has appeared over-wraught on stage.
At last year’s Glastonbury festival she dedicated the song Littlest Things to her grandmother, who had died the previous evening.> celeb celebs
