In an interview set to air in the USA September 21, Kelly Osbourne, daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne andAmerica’s Got Talent judge Sharon Osbourne, discusses the difficulty she had in owning up to her drug problem.

“I was ashamed of myself,” Osbourne reveals on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I didn’t want to tell my parents.”

“My mom had been in a relationship with my father for years and years trying to get him sober,” Osbourne tells DeGeneres. “I was completely ashamed that I would have to go to her and now tell her that her daughter has issues as well. ”

And according to Kelly, Had she known then what she knows now, things would have gone differently.

“I felt like I let her down–but what I didn’t realize was that if I would have went to her a long time ago, she would have helped me no matter what.”
