Kate Moss has been offered £50,000 to appear on the XFactor and help pal Louis Walsh pick his final three acts.
Kate is being lined up to jet to Southern Italy with Louis later this month for five days of filming, according to the Mirror.
Kate, 35, will watch the best six bands then help him decide who goes through to the all-important live shows.
Although contracts have yet to be signed, it is understood Kate has verbally agreed to guest on the ITV1 talent show.
Delighted X Factor bosses see it as a massive coup to land one of the most sought-after names in the business. It is thought media mogul Simon Cowell, 49, personally invited her to take part.
The pair became close after Kate was signed up to oversee the image of his new global entertainment company with business tycoon Sir Philip Green, 57.
Insiders revealed Kate, who has already lined up several other projects for when her modelling days are over, is also excited at the prospect of being on one of her favourite shows. An X Factor source said: “Kate is a huge fan of the show and was in the audience quite a few times last year.
“She met Simon through Sir Philip and they are now good pals. There are still a few details to iron out but all being well, she is slated to appear.”
Kate struck up a friendship with Louis, 57, at a star-studded charity bash at London’s Cafe de Paris. The pair were both judges for a spoof Britain’s Got Talent-style show.
The insider said: “They really hit it off so their collaboration seems to be the perfect pairing.” Robbie Williams has also confirmed he will appear on this year’s X Factor – even though Louis once branded him a “karaoke singer”. >celeb
