KATIE Price, dramatically broke off her romance with Alex Reid just two hours after quitting as a contestant on I’m A Celebrity.
She said of the break-up: “I want to be on my own. I do not want a relationship.”

Katie has apologised on live TV for her behaviour since she split with ex-husband Peter Andre.
During her exit interview on the ITV1 programme, Price said: “For the last seven months I have acted like a right twit and I’m sorry if I upset people.”

Price, 31, said one of the reasons she left the jungle after eight days was because she missed her three children.
She said: ‘If I’d have carried on in there, I don’t know what would have happened. With my children, although I’ve been away before, for a week, I’ve been able to see them on Skype or talk to them.
‘I had no contact with them, which I knew, but I found it really hard and it made me realise I don’t need to do this, it’s not about that, I need to get out of here.’


Insisting she hadn’t planned on staying for just a short period, Price explained: ‘You can’t have a gameplan. I wanted to stay to the end, but emotionally it was really, really hard – probably because of the Pete part, the good memories.
‘Everywhere I went it was ‘Pete, Pete, Pete, Pete, Pete’ – I just wanted closure.’
Miss Price told Ant and Dec that she was much happier after her jungle experience..
‘It made me reflect on my past. It made me realise I probably did act a right fool behaving the way I did.
‘It’s a fresh start,’ she said.

Ex-EastEnders star Lucy Benjamin was the first celebrity to be voted out.
She was up against TV chef Gino D’Acampo and former page 3 girl Samantha Fox for eviction from the show.
Meanwhile Peter Andre told New: “I know everyone is desperate to know what I think of I’m A Celebrity… this year but I swear on my life I have not watched one episode.
“The kids haven’t seen it either because it’s on far too late for them.”
