David Beckham loves his new home of California.
So much so, that he has been signed up by the state’s marketing board to attract British tourists.
This week he visited one of California’s golden beaches to film a new advertising campaign for his adopted home.
Hundreds of sunbathers stood and watched as the England player kicked ball after ball into the sea.
He looked quite the American, in a new look for David, a casual shirt, and cut down Chinos.
‘They were filming him kicking soccer balls into the ocean,’ an eyewitness said of the Thursday afternoon shoot on Santa Monica beach.
After finishing the advert Beckham signed autographs and posed for photographs with the crowd of bystanders.
Earlier in the day he and wife Victoria had taken their three sons to lunch in Beverly Hills.
Californian governor Arnold Schwarzenegger reportedly asked Beckham to take part in the tourism campaign, which also features Rob Lowe, Vanessa Williams and Dog Whisperer star Cesar Millan. >>> Daily Mail..Celebs
