Tonites Coronation Street Chesney watches Fiz as she frantically searches for her engagement ring but she covers saying that she is looking for a tax letter for her scooter. With no one to turn to, Fiz confides in Julie about her and John’s engagement and how she’s lost the ring. Julie’s sympathetic and helps in her search, but to no avail.

Later, Chesney’s still furious that Fiz is lying to him and when he spots Rosie break off from washing her sports car to answer the phone, he spies the keys in the ignition, before leaping in and driving off!
Meanwhile, Jason’s delighted when he receives a letter informing him that his loan for the flat deposit has been accepted. Jason and Tina show Eileen and Joe around Number 12 and everyone is a little overwhelmed by the amount of work that needs doing. Worried that they’re getting into too much debt, Eileen offers to lend them some money that she inherited from Colin to help out.
